Seminar Objectives
Objective:
At the end of the program, participants should:
1. Have better understanding of the new health care bill and how it could impact cancer screening and possibly treatment for our patients especially for minorities and low income indigenes.
2. Have better understanding of the new screening guidelines and how to improve compliance in the population.
3. Understand the unusual presentation of inflammatory breast cancer, how to identify it and promote early detection and management and instruct patient on its recognition.
4. Have a better understanding of how our everyday practices and the environment impacts on cancer incidence.
5. be able to develop teaching tools for public education on various cancer everyday practices impacting cancer incidence in our society.
6. Have better understanding of local available resources for cancer prevention and be able to appropriately refer patients especially for indigent care.
7. be able to tap into local resources to support various cancer prevention programs
