Theme: Cancer Prevention, the way forward: A look at our everyday practices and the impact on Cancer Incidence.

Goal: Equip healthcare providers with information necessary to facilitate routine preventative lifestyle practices among the general population

Objective:  Encourage healthcare providers to become cancer prevention advocates by:

1. Providing information on daily practices that contribute to the continued high incidence of cancer in the population.

2. Providing the latest research on cancer screening modalities and the impact of the new cancer screening guidelines.

3. Providing information on the impact of the new healthcare bill on cancer screening and treatment.

4. Better acquainting healthcare providers with available local screening and treatment resources in Harris County and/or Texas.

6 hours of CME and CEU provided.
Fee: $50.00 if Early Bird & $65.00 after 8/15/10
MDs: $75.00 if Early Bird & $100.00 after 8/15/10
